I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I love everything written by this author. And this book is no exception. I simply loved this story. I LOVED Cole and Addison. They were soulmates, I think, from when they first met! Maybe they didn't understand it, but no one else ever measured up and they never could get the other out off their mind, in spite of the assured disapproval of the Senator!! I reviewed an Advance Reader copy of this book. Cole is one hot guy who wanted Addison back in high school. Addison's Dad is very political and Cole is the baddest of bad boys so Addison does everything her Dad tells her pretty much. Cole has been Addison's friend since they were small and he liked her a lot, it's love at first fun and play time almost. Addison somehow doesn't trust Cole and she is sharp with him and sarcastic and not fun sometimes. She does these things because she does care about him but doesn't want him to know. Addison doesn't know that Cole is at the same school as she is for college until freshman orientation and there he is. She wants him gone out of her life forever or so she thinks. She runs into him at a party her friends talked her into coming to and she wanted to run out the door and leave him behind but something is going on with them and she has to find out what that is. Cole keeps coming back to Addy and it drives her nuts, so do they beat each other up with words, do they try to get along, do they actually succeed at anything, you will have to read this one to find out.
A quick sexy, funny and sweet novella!
We've all had that one guy who has grown up alongside us. Our frenemy, the one we love to hate. They pull our pigtails and snap our bras and in Addison's case Cole is famous for dropping frogs down her dress when they were kids. Then our moms tell us, he just teases you because he has a crush on you and inside you scream, IMPOSSIBLE! If he liked me at all he would STOP tormenting me!
When Addison moved away for college, she hoped she'd seen the last of her lifelong frenemy Cole, but to her shock and frustration, he ends up attending the same college. When the two of them collide at a Halloween "function", the prim, proper, serious Addison has no use for the goofy, prankster, annoying Cole. He immediately starts in on her and the witty and snarky banter between them is hilarious!
What happens though, when the two of them accidentally get locked in a basement room together? Will it be a Halloween nightmare for Addison? Or will we find out that maybe Cole did have a crush on her after all?
Sweet, steamy childhood frenemies to lovers romance. Loved this smart, sexy quick read!

This was part of an Anthology, Wicked Ways A Begging for Bad Boys Collection. (I don't think it's available anymore because when I did a search before writing this review, it wasn't there.) Each author wrote about different people at a Halloween party. This is Cole and Addison's story.
Cole and Addison knew each other growing up. Her father is a Senator and Cole is definitely not Senator Tanner-approved. One night he helps her sneak into her house after drinking too much for the first and last time at a party and she kisses him. When he doesn't take advantage of her, she just assumes he's not interested and they go their separate ways. He went wild while she went the polar opposite. To make her father happy, Addy attends her father's Alma mater, LSU, instead of going to art school like she wanted to do.
At a school Halloween party, which she calls a "faculty-student function", she hooks up with Cole after all the misunderstandings and hurt feelings get resolved. This has lots of drama with a little sexy get together in the wine cellar. The only thing I wish we could have known is how her father reacted to the two of them getting together.

Once upon a time, Addison and Cole were close friends, but as they got older, their very different backgrounds caused a gulf to grow between them. Cole has always loved to torment Addison, and he's gotten more creative at it as the years went by. Cole has graduated from pulling Addison's pigtails and putting frogs down her dress to cranking up the volume on her cellphone, hiding it in the bottom of her bag, then calling her 6 times in a row. During a lecture.
Addison has many reasons to be pissed off with Cole, but phonegate doesn't even come close to topping the list, unlike the time Cole kissed her. Oh wait. Addison may have initiated the kiss. But the fact that Cole's kiss blew her away and left her reeling in the aftermath? All Cole's fault.
Even though Addison gives Cole the cold shoulder every time they see each other, he can't forget her or walk away and he can't help making sure he has the last word. Addison finds Cole very annoying and just wants him to get lost. So why is Addison left feeling disappointed when Cole leaves her alone?
Wicked Tease is a funny, sweet and steamy story. Addison and Cole are very likeable and the scorching chemistry between them is hot enough to start a forest fire. The banter between Addison and Cole was very entertaining. I highly recommend this book.
It was a great story, couldn't put it down
The first story, Wicked Tease, was ok but a little short. The second story was very good. Humor good. Characters and hot hot hot sex. Easy to read and great.
I love Ms. Irons writing. This book contains two separate stories. The first one, "Wicked Tease" was just okay. The plot was good, however, it was too short, not fully developed and it felt rushed. Now, the second one, " Cockney A British Bad Boy," was fantastic! It had drama, humor and hot, hot passion! Enjoyed it tremendously
