Even Ranulf and Sandor as they are assigned to work together to protect Kerry from the evil Rouge that is after her. He teaches her Love and what she really is. and most of all of controlling her inner power that has come to mature. And he also teaches her they are Mates...Forever

I won't bother to summarize the book here because other reviewers have written fine summaries. The book is easy to read and entertaining. It's quick and held my interest throughout. The villain was a bit dark, but then this series, though similar-type urban fiction, is different from the Paladin series. All in all, I prefer the characters in the Paladin series as I seem to have become attached to them quickly and I feel as if I know their history. I agree with another reviewer - I need more back story. However, if you want a fun read, this is a good choice.
Not sure what I thought about this series. I still don't really understand "what" these warriors are? A decent read.
I 'found' Alexis Morgan and her Talions series by chance and so very glad I did. I love this series and those men - HOT!
Funny how a book can seem real and yet you know it is all fantasy. Alexis is a great author that makes you believe in the unbelievable! Good job Alexis!
Meet a new race - the Kyth. Descended from Vikings this race is cool, they use human energy to survive. The central characters in this book are Ranulf Thorsen, the warrior responsible for punishing rouge Kyth; Sandor Kean, a warrior with strength and charm; Dame Judith, the leader of the race; and Kelly Logan, a strong and powerful Kyth who has lived her entire life with no knowledge of her heritage. Saving the lives of everyone caught in a dance club fire brings Kelly to the attention of Dame Judith. Ranulf is responsible for bring the arsonist to justice and Sandor task is with Kelly who/what is really is. This book is filled with page turning suspense.
I think I'm being a bit generous by giving it 4 stars. The book is really more so along the lines of 3- 3 1/2 stars. Let me just say that this book is not a bad read. It kept me entertained and I do plan on continuing on with the series. I think that it needed a certain "je ne se quoix" to it. It probably needed more action or more suspence to make it a solid 4 star book. The characters are interesting, I just wanted to know more about them. The ending was good and the concept is very clever. I will read the next book to see how the plot develops. For a first book of a series it's not bad. And some authors will probably agree with me when I say that the first book is the hardest to execute. So I am interested in work Alexis Morgan. I hear that her Paladins series is very good. So she's definitely an author whose work I would continue reading.
